| Hildred Barlow Murphy was born in San Francisco, CA, January 2, 1891. She attended St. Francis Academy in Baker City, Oregon, where she painted on Haviland china and painted oils on canvas. Hildred submitted a pen and ink drawing for which she won 1st place at the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition World's Fair in San Francisco . She married Daniel F. Murphy on August 13, 1929 in Boise, Idaho. Hildred and Daniel had four children - Kathleen, Margaret, Patrick, and John. Daniel F. Murphy died around 1933. |
