William Barlow was born in 1806. He and his family moved
west and he was in Michigan in 1831-2 when his son was born. He finally
settled in Fabius Township, Schuyler County, Missouri, where he was recorded
as a farmer in the 1850 and 1860 censuses.
He married Deborah ---- who was born in 1811-2 in Virginia.

[1860 census]. He was recorded in Pocahontas County in the 1840 through
1860 censuses.

Andrew D. Barlow was born in 1844. He
was perhaps the A.D. Barlow who married Jennie Belle Russell, a daughter
of C.W. Russell, in 1874 in Randolph County, West Virginia. Their

John Barlow was born in 1820. He was recorded in Pocahontas County
in the 1850 census and he moved across the Ohio River to Gallia County,
Ohio, soon after. He died in 1858 in Schuyler County, Missouri.
John Barlow married Emily Ewing, who was born September 11, 1820,
in either Virginia [1850 census] or Missouri [1860 census]. She was
recorded at Walnut Township, Gallia County, in the 1860 census. She
died on May 12, 1893, and was buried in the Old Walnut Ridge Cemetary
at Walnut Township.

Henry married 1) RACHEL CAMERON who apparently died sometime around 1860. He then married NANCY JANE CASSELL.
Children of Henry and are as shown below. Eveline and Huldah may have died prior to 1860, they are not in the 1870 census.
From 1870 census, I find: Henry, 42, WV Nancy J., 29, WV Mary A., 13, WV John E., 8, WV Amos V., 5, WV Wm. A., 4, WV Ragina R., 2, WV Babe, 1, WV Martha, 80, WV (his mother) I did not locate them in an 1880 census, but find that William A. is actually William Anderson, born 23 March 1866 in Pochahontas Co WV PARENTS: Henry & Nancy J.Barlow, his middle name comes from the 1910 census, where he is listed as Anderson. He is married to Frances E (1910) shown as Ella F. (1920) ...and their children are: William Glenn, Dameron, and Ira A. Barlow. Ira was born in 1912, enlisted in WWII in 1944 in Maryland, and may have died in May 190 in Charlotte VA. SSDI: IRA BARLOW, born March 12, 1912, and died May 1980 in Charlottesville City, VA. |
