and died 19 January 1897 Blandinsville, Illinois
He married Sarah Robinson 10 November 1841 in Washington Co
Virginia, daughter of Mitchell Robinson and Rachel Edmiston.
She was born 01 August 1818 in Washington Co Virginia, and
died. 01 April 1886 in Fountain Green, Hancock Co Illiniois,
and was buried in Alton Cemetery, Hancock Co Illinois.
Several researchers believe that Joseph is the
son of Joseph Barlow and Rachel
Thomas. If anyone has proof of
that, I would love to hear from you.

Mr. Barlow, a native of Illinois, lived in the county
25 years. He died Saturday.
He was an Army vetran of World War I.
Mr. Barlow had once been employed as a guard at Ryan Aeronautical
Company.
He was a member of the Kenneth L. Balanchard Post, American
Legion of National City.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Mills -- born
1918 -- of National City; a sister and two grandchildren.
