JAMES BARLOW 2, son of Branson Barlow, was born c1805-06 in North Carolina, and died before 1870, probably in Ashley Co Arkansas.

The only known marriage for James Barlow is to ELIZABETH EVERETT on December 07, 1840 in Clarke Co Alabama.  (Clarke Co Alabama Marriage Records, 1814-1959, Judge of Probate)

He apparently married 2nd, PARMELIA

Branson mentions in his will of 1839, his son, 'James, of Hinds Co Mississippi', however, James must have returned to Alabama after his father's death, as he is enumerated in Clarke Co living with another male, who has not been identified, but could be anyone; a boarder, laborer, or a relative.

GEORGE W. BARLOW3, born c1841 in Alabama, and may have died before 1878

He married MARGARET c1869-1870, and possibly either widowed or divorced before October 10, 1876, at which time she married to Henry King in Ashley Co Arkansas.

I find a marriage record of George W. Barlow and Mary J. Jeffers, December 20, 1865 in Ashley Co Arkansas,   (Marriage records, 1848-1951, Ashley Co Arkansas, County Clerk) Could she be the same as Margaret?

JAMES FRANKLIN PIERCE BARLOW3, was born November 03, 1852 in Louisiana, and died March 12, 1900, may be buried in an unmarked grave in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Ashley Co Arkansas.

He married SUSANNAH WYTHE REID.  The daughter of James Reid and Susannah, she was born November 01, 1853 in Arkansas, and died November 30, 1896, burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Berlin, Ashley Co Arkansas.

NETA BELLE BARLOW, born March 09, 1895, and died February 10, 1976 in Memphis, Shelby Co Tennessee (SSDI)    She married STEVE WILLIAMS

EVA JAMES BARLOW, born April 24, 1875 in Arkansas, and died February 13, 1952 in Poplar Bluff, Butler Co Missouri.

She married WILLIAM HENRY REED on April 29, 1906 in Ashley Co Arkansas.  The son of Thomas Reed and Mary Underwood, he was born August 06, 1861 in Lost Creek, Wayne Co Missouri and died October 27, 1948 in Mill Springs, Wayne Co Missouri.  William and Eva are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Butler Co  Missouri.   Eva was a second marriage for Henry Reed. He had previously been married to Mary Cordoba Medders who died in 1903, and they had 4 children. 

HENRY FRANKLIN REED, born September 10, 1909 in Lost Creek, Wayne Co Missouri.
He married MILDRED AGNES TINKER on December 19, 1935 in Wayne Co Missouri.  The daughter of Loyd Tinker and Grace Wilson, she was born August 29, 1918 in Williamsville, Wayne Co Missouri, and died July 20, 2001 in Poplar Bluff, Butler Co Missouri, burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Butler Co Missouri.  They had 2 children.

ROBERT REED, born June 08, 1911 in Lost Creek, Wayne Co Missouri, and died April 09, 1981, in Hood River, Hood River Co Oregon.
He married IDA MAY ALLISON March 27, 1931 in Chaonia, Wayne Co Missouri.  The daughter of George Allison and Lottie Austin, she was born March 27, 1915 in Chaonia, Wayne Co Missouri, and died April 26, 2005 in Boardman, Morrow Co Oregon. They had 5 children, 2 of whom died at birth.   Robert and Ida are buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Butler Co Missouri.

GEORGE EVANS BARLOW was born January 20, 1883, and died March 24, 1946 in McGehee, Desha Co Arkansas.

He married CLARA ELLEN REED on November 09, 1905 in Ashley Co Arkansas.  The daughter of William Henry Reed and Mary Medders, she was born August 17, 1888 in Lost Creek, Wayne Co Missouri, and died May 17, 1967 in Fort Worth, Tarrant Co Texas.   She is buried in McGhee, Desha Co Arkansas along with George.    (George' sister, Eva James Barlow married William Henry Reed after the death of his first wife, Mary...see #5)

She married LEON LAVELLE RASPBERRY on January 01, 1933, Little Rock, Pulaski Co Arkansas.  He was born August 02, 1907 in Hamburg, Ashley Co Arkansas, and died April 20, 1992 in Batesville, Independence Co Arkansas.  Both are buried at Cherokee Chapel Cemetery, Cherokee Village, Sharp Co Arkansas.  They had 3 children.

MABEL EDELL BARLOW, born September 14, 1920 in Morehouse Parish, Louisiana, and died December 23, 1982 in Arlington, Tarrant Co Texas, where she is also buried.
She married CHARLES EDMOND OSWALD on October 14, 1939 in McGehee, Desha Co Arkansas.  The son of Charles Oswald and Dovey Lilly, he was born May 22, 1912 in Moscow, Jefferson Co Arkansas, and died August 29, 1980 in Little Rock, Pulaski Co Arkansas.  They had one child.
