January 2008, Susan notes: I have determined that Charles is a part of the Isle of Wight Virginia via John Barlow and Jane Anderson, via Thomas Barlow, who in turn fathered Charles P. Barlow. (He is shown as Chas A. in at least one census) Just who is the father of Charles B. is yet is unknown. I have not yet traced Thomas family, having just discovered their move to Texas while searching this family. The connection to the Charles P. Barlow family is determined simply because of the Bible record. |

If anyone knows how Charles B. and Charles P. are related, I would be interested in knowing. In the 1900 census, Charles P. has children: Ruby E., born Feb 1882, Tannie E., born September 1882, Thomas M., born Jun 1887, Chas. H., born Aug 1889, John P., born June 1892, Lera T., born Dec. 1894, and Hayden, born Aug 1899. Perhaps Hayden is the same as Alton. Also in the home is Henry T. Paul, nephew, born Mar 1878....all born in Texas. |
