OLIVE BARLOW2, daughter of Thomas Barlow and Elizabeth Roscoe, was born c1797 in South Carolina [1850C], and died between 1850-1860 in Jasper Co Texas.

She married THOMAS WARREN HART on January 15, 1818 Laurens Co Georgia.   The son of Robert Hart and Mary, [RWWC] he died in September 1848 in Jasper Co Texas.

Olive received from her father's estate:     Slaves: Sam and Charlet/Charlotte, worth $330, and owed the estate $5.62 ½
I did not locate them in an 1820 census.

Again, I did not locate them in a 1840 census.  They may have been in the Republic of Texas, which did not become a part of the United States until 1845, and thus were not enumerated in an 1840 census.

He married 1) MARGARET E. 'MAGGIE' HARDY on 09 September 1858 in Jasper Co Texas  [Tx Marriage Records, 1860C].  She may be the same as ELMIRA in the 1860 census, though it looks like her age is shown as 13, it could actually be 18.  A The daughter of George M. Pursinger Hardy and Elizabeth S. Stark, she was born c1842 in Texas, and died before 1868.  A 2 year old, Henry Hardy lived in the home with them, but I don't believe he was Maggie's child.
He married 2) SUSAN E. 'SUE' STARK on 04 June 1868 in Newton Co Texas.  The daughter of Jeremiah Stark, and perhaps Mary Ann Jones, she was born April 1844 in San Augustine Co Texas, and died 26 June 1930 in Orange Co Texas. [DC #31045]   They had no children.

QUEEN ELIZABETH HART3, was born c1818 in Georgia, and died 08 May 1863 in Jasper Co Texas. [Ancestry]

She married 1) JAMES ALLEN WYNN on 10 December 1836 in St Landry Parish Louisiana. [LA Marriage records, shown as Winn]  He was born 08 July 1806 in Maine, [Ancestry, 1920C] and died before 1844.
She married 2) MR. NOGUESE / NOGUESS / NOGUES c1844.
She married 3) JACOB STAMPLEY COLE, JR. on 11 August 1853 in Jasper Co Texas.  [Ancestry] The son of Jacob Stampley Cole, Sr., he was born 26 July 1827 in Bayou Dubonne, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, and died 15 April 1903 in Reeves, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, burial in Creel Cemetery, Bel, Allen Parish Louisiana. [Ancestry]   Jacob was not in the 1860 census with Queen, and I could not locate where he might be.

In 1850, Queen is living with her mother in Jasper Co Texas, however, her children are not enumerated with her. They are enumerated with the last name Noguese, in Jasper Co with C.A. (Cornelius Austin) and Sarah Frances (McGough) Ogden, no known relationship.  I did not locate her son James.

She married ELLIJAH ALLEN on 26 September 1839 in Jefferson Co Texas. [TX Marriage Records]  The son of John William Allen and Hannah Pride, he was born 24 September 1817 in St Helena Parish Louisiana, and died unknown in Orange Co Texas, burial in Texas State Cemetery, Austin, Travis Co Texas. [Ancestry,RWWC]   [Not shown in the database of Texas State Cemetery burials] Elijah married Phoebe Cole on 06 April 1870 in Orange Co Texas after Mary Jane's death.  Phebe is the daughter of Clark Cole and Auzille Ann Stephenson, Clark in turn is the son of James Cole and Jemima Curtis, who are the grandparents of Jacob Stampley Cole Jr., 3rd husband of Queen Elizabeth Hart.

MARION E. ALLEN, born 1853 in Texas   I found  a Marion Allen, (age 27) brother in law in the home of Ruth Allen in an 1880 Bell Co Texas census, and in 1900 Comanche Co Texas, they were married, but I cannot be positive it is the same Marion Allen, nor would I know which of his brothers may have married Ruth prior to him.  The reason I think this may be the same Marion is that Ruth has a daughter named Olive Jane Allen.   In the 1900 census, shown as Marion E. Allen, he was born March 1853 in Texas.  Ruth is shown as Ruth S., and they appear to have a child, Elza M. [Eliza], born in November 1891, as well as Rufus and Annie Allen from her previous marriage.  In 1910, they are shown as E.M. and R.S. in San Angelo, Tom Green Co, and Eliza is 16.  They have been married 19 years, his first, her second marriage, and she shows that she has only born 1 child.    In 1920, they still live in San Angelo, Tom Green Co Texas, he aged 66 and she 64, no children.   I did not locate them in a 1930 census, nor did I find either of them in the Texas death records.

ELIZA ANN HART, born 20 March 1828 in Louisiana, and died 10 November 1900 in Newton Co Texas, burial in Wright Cemetery, Buna, Newton Co Texas.

She married JOHN VALENTINE 'JACK' WRIGHT on 21 December 1843 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. The son of Sherrod Wright and Anna Clark, he was born 05 May 1820 in St Tammany Parish Louisiana, and died 06 August 1897 in Newton Co Texas, burial in Wright Cemetery, Buna, Newton Co Texas.

John V. Wright served with the Texas Calvary from 1863 - 1865 in the Beaumont area. He was detailed to butcher meat for the soldiers. In the winter he would kill any animal fit to eat. On the average, he tried to kill at least four cows a day. He drove a four-mule team.
