Wm. and Lucinda's daughter. Edy Parmelia, whom I assume came along with them to Arkansas, was married in Georgia in February 1853, and Georgia A.L. Barlow was born in Arkansas c1854, thus, we can assume the family arrived in Arkansas between 1853 and 1854.  Perhaps they left Georgia after William's death, or he died a long the way, or before the 1860 census in Arkansas.

1 male 20-30 is probably a sibling of William or Lucinda, 1 male 30-40 is William 2 females under 5 are Malinda, and Edy Parmelia, 1 female 15-20 is probably a sibling of William or Lucinda, or the spouse of a sibling, and the female 20-30 is Lucinda.

I did not find Lucinda, Parmelia, Martha, James Henry, John W., George Frank, or Georgia in the 1870 census anywhere in the U.S.

JOHN W. BARLOW, born December 1846 in Georgia.  He may have died before 1870, or perhaps during the Civil War.  Some show him as married to Martha W. and living in Cass Co Texas in 1880, but following through, I don't believe him to be this John.

VERLINDA C. BARLOW3, (William2, William1) was born August 1836 in Georgia, [1900C] and died between 1900 and 1910 in Louisiana. [C]

She married JOHN E. ETHERIDGE on 25 September 1852 in Wilkinson Co Georgia, services performed by James Pittman, Justice of Peace. [GMR] Probable son of Newton and Lucinda Etheridge of Baldwin Co Georgia [1850C], he was born January 1831 in Georgia, [1900C] and died after 1910 in Louisiana. [C]    I could not find any of this family in Louisiana's death index.

EDY PARMELIA BARLOW3, (William2, William1) daughter of William Barlow and Lucinda Myrick was born September 1837 in Georgia,[1900C] and died after 1910 in Arkansas.

She married COLEMAN KEENE on 25 February 1853 in Wilkinson Co Georgia, services performed by Justice of Peace, S.T. Player.  [GMR] The son of William and Sarah A. Keen, [1850C] he was born September 1833 in Georgia, [1900C] and died before 1910 in Arkansas.

Eda's sister, Georgia married a Price, but I don't believe Violet is her child, I'm not sure who's child she might be

MARTHA ANN KEENE, born May 1860 in Arkansas, and died before 1910, probably in Lafayette Co Arkansas.
She married NICHOLAS MURRAY of Ireland, c1881. [1900C, GF]   Probably had no children, none shown to have been born in the 1900 census.   In 1910, Nicholas, age 60, a widower, has gone to Choctaw Co Oklahoma with neighbor, Gus Spruell who has married Quivonia Cochran, daughter of Emma F. Keene, see next. 

SAMUEL MCCORMICK, born August 1887 in Arkansas, [C] and died 05 October 1935 in Lamar Co Texas [TDR]  In 1920, he is living with a John Hoorn, his age is 29, shown as single.
In 1930 he is married to LOTTIE E., age 32, he is 37, and they have a 2 year old daughter, EVA J.  Since his age at first marriage is 24, and hers is 25, I think he has been married before. The reason I believe this is because I find in Texas Death Records, Infant of Sam McCormick died 17 February 1914 in Lamar Co Texas.   It may be that the wife also died. 

MARTHA E. ANN BARLOW3, (William2, William1) daughter of William Barlow and Lucinda Myrick was born between 1843-1848 in Georgia.

She married 1) THOMAS W. NELSON on 22 July 1866 in Miller Co Arkansas. [AMR,FR]   He was born c1828 in Mississippi, and died apparently died between 1870-1874.   Thomas had previously been married to Sedna, and had 4 children in the 1860 census.
She married 2)  J.C. FITZGERALD before 1874. [FR,C]   I was unable to locate either of them in a 1900 census, they may be deceased.

I was unable to locate Thomas Nelson or Martha in the 1870 census, but she is next door to sister, Lucinda in 1880.   She has gotten a bit younger too!

A Morriss family shares the household with them, no relation is stated, nor do I know of any.  Perhaps the wife is a sister of Lula's.

GEORGIA A. L. BARLOW3, (William2, William1) daughter of William Barlow and Lucinda Myrick was born November 1855 in Arkansas.

She married 1) JOHN B. WEEMS on 21 June 1871 in Lafayette Co Arkansas. [AMR]  The son of John B. Weems of Alabama, and his wife, B.A., of Georgia, John was born c1856, and apparently died before 1884 at which time Georgia married 2) ANDREW J. PRICE c1884. [C]

JOHN W. KEENE4, (Edy3,William2, William1) son of Edy Parmelia Barlow and Coleman Keene, was born April 1858 in Arkansas, and probably died between 1910-1920 in Arkansas.

His first wife is unknown, but born in Louisiana, and probably died in Arkansas, after 1885.  He married 2) ELLEN ______ HOWARD c1902 in Arkansas.  Family records tells that one of these women's surname was Smith.

Obviously, the older children are step-children, even though the census taker shows them to be Keen's.  In the 1920 census, we find that they are actually surnamed 'Howard'    I did not locate them again in 1930.

LUTHER KEEN5, born October 1885 in Arkansas.  In the 1910 Fannin Co Texas census, I find a Luther Keen, age 26, born in Arkansas living in the Spier home, that may be him.  The census transciption at Ancestry showed his parents born in Nova Scotia, but after looking closely at it, I decided it says U.S. instead of N.S.   In 1920, Lafayette Co Arkansas, Roane Twp, he is age 34, married to MATTIE M., age 27, and they have a 2 year old daughter, ANNIE KEEN.

EMMA F. KEENE, (Edy3,William2, William1) daughter of Edy Parmelia Barlow and Coleman Keene, was born February 1863 in Arkansas, and died 1940, burial in Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Bossier Parish Louisiana. 

Sbe married WILLIAM JUDSON COCHRAN c1883 in Arkansas. [RWWC, C]  The son of Andrew Cochran and Jane Boggs of Tennessee, he was born 24 November 1843 in Talladega, Talledega Co Alabama, and died 12 November 1913 in Bossier Parish Louisiana, burial in Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Bossier Parish Louisiana. [RWWC]   He had previously been married to Mary Waldrop, and they had several children. [RWWC]

EMMA QUIVONIA COCHRAN5, born July 1884 in Arkansas, [C] and died 1943 in Bradley, Lafayette Co Arkansas, burial in Walnut Hills Cemetery, Bradley, Lafayette Co Arkansas [RWWC]
She married AUGUSTUS ALLEN 'GUS' SPRUELL.  [C,RWWC]  The son of Simeon / Dimeon Staten Grubbs Spruell and Nancy Permelia Cochran, he was born 22 June 1879 in Bradley, Lafayette Co Arkansas [RWWC, C]
