Father: Alexander Edwin Bloxton, farmer who fought for the South in Civil War He was born 24 March 1846 (gravestone says 27 March 1846), Stafford Co Virginia, and died 10 June 1921, burial in Bloxton Family Cemetery. Mother: Ella Henry Conway, born 15 June 1842, Stafford Co Virginia, died 26 February 1917 burial Bloxton Family Cemetery -- "Mother" on her gravestone. She was the daughter of Dr. Valentine Yelverton Conway, b. 1803, d. 1882, Stafford Co Virginia, and Mary Catherine Washington Henry -- married 22 December 1824 Ella's parents were married by a Methodist pastor 07 October 1867, Stafford Co Virginia. Ella's grandfather was: William Ashby Bloxton, Jr., farmer of 10,000 acres, born about 1808, Stafford Co Virginia Married 1st wife: Lucy Clift in 1829, daughter of Arthur and Harriet Clift. Lucy Clift, born 1810 in Stafford Co Virginia, death date in Stafford Co must be incorrect "1841", because she had my gg-grandfather in 1846. They had 4 sons Married 2nd wife: Mary Elizabeth Burton and had 7 children. First child, Robert Jefferson Bloxton, born about 1848; last child, Catherine Elizabeth Bloxton Martin born between 1860 and his death date: 16 January 1864, Stafford Co Virginia, of 'Billions Fever', so he and 2nd wife married between births of 1846 and 1848.
