Land sale between Sylvanus Howe and Shubel Kenfield
Enfield, Hampshire Co Massachusetts - dated 01 November 1837.  Describes the sale of land partly in Belchertown and partly in Enfield, using the property of Wiatt Barlow/Barlowe to describe property lines

Know all men by these presents that I Sylvanus Howe of Enfield in the County of Hampshire and Commonwealth of Massachusetts am not on District firmly bound to Shubel Kenfield of Belchertown in the sum of one hundred dollars for which payment sell and truly to be made. I bind myself my heirs a ____ and administration firmly by these presents. Sealed with my seal dated this first day of November 1837.

It is to be remembered that the said Shuebel Kenfield has bought of the said Sylavnus Howe a sertain tract of land lying partly in Belchertown and partly in Enfield in said county bounded as follows: Beginning at the corner Wiatt Barlows land on the line between said Barlow and Lomas Woods thence on the same pint that the line __ between said Barlow and Woods about twenty rods to a fence thence westerly as the fence runs so far as to make it parilal with the line between the said House and Barlowe then southerly to a stake and stones standing near the end of the wall then easterly in the line of Dl Barlows land to the first mentioned bounds containg five acres more or less for which the said Sheubal has given the said Howe two promisary notes of twenty Dollars and ____ even date with this bond one to be payed one year from the date with interest and the other in two years from the date with interest.

The considerations of the above obligation is ____that of the said Sheubel shall pay on caus to be payed ot the said Sylvanus the cont--- of each of the above mentioned and interest -- -- before the expiration two years from the date of this note. Then uppon the demand of the said Sheubel the ___ shall make and deliver to the said Shubel a good deed of warrant infer simple of the before mentioned tract of land then the above obligation is to be said otherwise to remain in full f---.
