Lillie Merritt
My Barlow ends with my grandmother Susie Marie Barlow, born 09 December 1899 in Garfield,
Pawnee Co Kansas. Her parents were Robert Vance Barlow and Marrie Grell, both born in New
York, Robert on 23 June 1862 and Marrie on 08 November 1862. Robert's father was John Barlow
married to Susan or Marya Lillie.
John had two brothers named Charlie and George; one of these brothers was a blacksmith in Missouri.
The other children of Robert and Marrie are as follows:

All the children were born in Garfield, Pawnee Co Kansas. All died in Santa Margarita, San Luis Obispo Co California. |

Teena Scoles
My great-grandmother is Beatrice Hawkins, she was born in Kansas. She married John Lynn
Jennings in Wilbur, Lincoln Co Washington. She died 11 January 1908 in Wilbur, 9 days after
giving birth to my grandfather, Robert Leland Jennings. Cause of death is listed as typhoid fever. On her death certificate her parents are listed as: Father: R.B. Hawkins born in Kentucky Mother: Rose Barlow born in Ohio
I know at some point after Beatrice's death, R.B. and Rose were living in Spokane Co Washington.

I really want to know about my grandfather Andrew Jackson Barlow, he was born in 1885. He resided in Kansas all his life. We think he died there too. He died in 1957. He had three brothers
named Lem, Grover and Brian and a sister named Cora. I would really like to get the death certificate of my grandfather Andrew because I want to research who his parents were.
Brian had a son named Nootsey (this could be a nickname) and another son named Robert. Lem had a son named Alfred and a daughter named Imogene. Grover never had any kids. We don't
know anything about Cora.
Note from Susan:
The 1900 census of Brown Co Kansas, has a Jackson Barlow, born March 1886, I feel almost sure is the same family that is mentioned above. If anyone can confirm this, please let me know. |
