| CHARLES BARLOW | CADDO PARISH | JUNE 01, 1860 |
| DANIEL G. BARLOW of Concordia Parish | MADISON PARISH | AUGUST 02, 1837 |
DANIEL G. BARLOW was the son of Dimon Barlow and Susanna Seeley of Fairfield Vermont, and brother to Noah and Abel Barlow who followed the Natchez Trail to Mississippi & Louisiana probably in the 1820's. This land record shows that Daniel was living in Concordia Parish Louisiana, and purchased land in Madison Parish Louisiana. Concordia Parish is located directly across the Mississippi River from Adams Co Mississippi. A large number of residents and migrants to Concordia came to the parish by way of Adams County or the Natchez Territory. Many Adams County residents owned or worked on plantations in Concordia Parish, but lived in Natchez, Adams County. Mississippi records have shown that both Noah and Abel lived in Adams County Mississippi, and died there. Noah also purchased land in Madison Parish Louisiana in 1839 and in 1846 and is shown to also be a resident of Concordia Louisiana. Daniel apparently migrated to Wisconsin, as that is where he died in 1867. For lineage of these families, see: BARLOWS OF FAIRFIELD VERMONT |

| FLETCHER DUTTON BARLOW | ST TAMMANY PARISH | JUNE 01, 1860 |
FLETCHER DUTTON BARLOW was born in Massachusetts, was recorded there in the 1850 census of Brookline, Norfolk Co in the home of Elisha Penniman, a student, age 16. I can't help but think he is somehow related to GENERAL FRANCIS CHANNING BARLOW. Francis' mother was a Penniman, and he grew up in Brookline Massachusetts. |
