Noah Barlow was the son of Dimon Barlow and Susanna Seeley of Fairfield Vermont, and brother to Daniel G. and Abel Barlow who followed the Natchez Trail to Mississippi & Louisiana  probably in the 1820's.
Land records also show that Noah bought land in Washington Co Mississippi in partnership with a Peter Chambliss, both of whom were residing in Adams Co Mississippi

Noah also purchased land in Madison Parish Louisiana in 1839 and in 1846 and is shown to also be a resident of Concordia Louisiana.
Concordia Parish is  located directly across the Mississippi River from Adams Co Mississippi.
A large number of residents and migrants to Concordia came to the parish by way
of Adams County or the Natchez Territory.  Many Adams County residents owned or worked on plantations in Concordia Parish, but lived in Natchez, Adams County.

Mississippi records have shown that both Noah and Abel lived in Adams County Mississippi, and died there.
