I am trying to trace the Barlow family for my children.  What I know is
        as follows:
My father in law was Alfred Leonard Jumper, born in La Gloria, Cuba, of American parents.
His father was Perle Valentine Jumper.
His mother was Florence Ann / Alice Barlow Jumper.  I remember Florence's middle name  being Ann, but some in-laws think it was Alice.  Florence was born August 28 1887 probably in Barlow's Bay area of Massachusetts.    She married Perle Valentine Jumper on February 14, 1911.  They were in Cuba when my father in law was born on February 24, 1914.  They later divorced and Florence and the children returned to the U.S.
Florence died in October 1971 in the Buffalo/Erie area - zip code 14207- according to Social Security death records,  SS#:  090-26-3427 issued in New York.   My father in law always told me that the Barlows were from Massachusetts and that Barlow's Bay / later Buzzard's Bay was named for that family.
Any information would be appreciated.     Thank you.

Audrey Barlowe married William Almy in 1626. As they were in Sandwich, Massachusetts for a time, I suspect that Mary Barlow may have been related
to her.  I quite a bit more info on Audrey....

From a paper that Granville Hough wrote on the Almys, I have Audrey Barlow's birthdate as "about 1603".  This same source also gives Christopher Almy's death  date as January 30, 1712/13, rather than 1713/14;  it says the will was proved  on February 2, 1712/13.
I also have Cemetery Data from the Rhode Island Historical  Society computer that says "Cemetery Data, RIHS,  30 Jan 1713, age 81."

I have William Almy's birth year as "about 1600" from the same source you  reference (NEHGR, Oct 1917, Vol 17, pp. 310-324).
        see:  Audrey Barlow Almay

I have their first daughter's name as Anna or Annis, but not as Anne, though of course that seems quite probable.

I have Christopher Almy as born in Leicestershire, but this is probably just a deduction from other known data.

        I also have:
Joanna Barlow and Gideon Borden married in Massachusetts. Gideon was the son of William Borden (b. 1707) who in turn was the son of Joseph Borden,
born December 3, 1680 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island and Sarah Brownell of Portsmouth, Rhode Island...so this marriage may have taken place in Massachusetts or any one of the surrounding states.
Can anyone tell me more about the family of Joanna?

        and also:
Mary Barlow married Francis Allen -born c1625; died 1696 in Sandwich, Massachusetts on July  20, 1662.   I have six daughters listed for them.
Francis Allen was the son of George Allen and possibly H. S. Smith.  George
was born before 1578 in England, probably Saltford, Somersetshire. George
died before July 2, 1648 in Sandwich, Plymouth Colony.  I know nothing more
        of Mary's lineage.

My Barlows appear in the Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood Springs, Colorado on the Barlow Clearinghouse.

We are right up there at the top of the page.  Bert V. is Berthier Vincent Barlow, my ggrandfather.
His wife, Mollie C. is Mary Custis Everett, my ggrandmother.

George B. and Maria are Bert's parents.

Bert's brother, Ernest -spelled Earnest in census records, and his wife Lola, are there too.   We think they were childless.

Their sister, Ida Schram, married and moved to California.  That is her baby buried there.

Caroline is the wife of George's brother, Frederick A. Barlow, who died in 1898.
I'm not sure why he is not buried in the same cemetery.

At one time, I believe there was a Barlow Hotel in Glenwood Springs.

This family moved to Colorado from Iowa, although George and Frederick were born in Massachussetts.  Bert -born 1865-  and Earnest -born 1874- were born
        in Leadora, Iowa.

1900 Census records in Colorado -Glenwood Precinct 4- list Maria, Caroline, Ernest, Berthier -George and Frederick had died.

There is a Charles Barlow also listed in Glenwood Precinct 4, born in 1858 in Germany, with a wife Mary.  I suspect they are related, however, as Glenwood was a pretty small place, and they also had a son named Earnest.

In Glenwood precinct 5 is listed a Joseph Barlow -born 1842 in Ohio, wife; Ella
        W. and son Charles C. -1876, Iowa.

I have looked in census records for 1880 Colorado and 1880 Iowa and could not find George, Maria, Bert or Earnest either place.

Anyone have any further information they can share on George's origin?    Thanks!

I am trying to sort out some Mary BARLOWs from Plymouth Co Massachusetts
in the late 1600's and early 1700's.

I would like to know who are the parents of the Mary BARLOW who married Josiah HAMMOND about 1713. --Josiah born September 15, 1692--

I would also like to know who are the parents of the Mary BARLOW who
married Josiah's son Nathan HAMMOND --Rochester VR intentions November
        17, 1739--

This is somewhat complicated by the fact that Josiah apparently had a son
Josiah and a grandson Josiah, each of whom married a Mary Barlow.

I believe the Mary Barlow who married Nathan Hammond was the daughter
of Shubael and Bathsheba Barlow Shubael>Aaron and Beulah Wing Barlow>George Barlow.  If anyone can confirm this I would be grateful.

I do not know who the Mary Barlow who married -1713?- Josiah Hammond might be.  A published Hammond Genealogy identifies Josiah's wife as Mary Barlow, but could be wrong.

I have looked through Hawkins and DeVries, and, of course, have benefited greatly from the Barlow Clearinghouse site, but can't identify Josiah's Mary
        --can anyone help?

I am searching for information on Franklin or Jane Elisa Barlow of Mattapoisett, Plymouth Co Massachusetts.
I believe Jane is the daughter of Franklin, but I'm not sure.  I don't have any dates for Jane, but she married Melvin Harriman and had a son, Nelson
Franklin Harriman, on 7 August 1884.
According to the Rochester Vital Records, Franklin Barlow married Belinda Nye in January 1840.  Since Jane is not listed in the vital records, she was probably born after 1850.
If anyone can shed light on my puzzle, I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks.

I'm trying to find info on Almira Barlow - born 1807.  She had sons named Francis, Edward  and Richard, hence I assume this was her married name.
Also, she participated in the Transcendentalist Community near West Roxbury, Massachusetts, known as Brook Farm c1843-44.
Any information on this family would be great!  Thanks

I have one lonely Barlow on my list and it is Ruth Barlow no other information married to John Norton b 1765 in Edgarstown Martha's Vineyard Massachusetts and moved to Easton Washington Co NY.  John  died in Belmont  Allegany Co New York in 1836.  Ruth was named in the will so I know that
        she was alive in 1836.
I have a list of the children of this union. My Norton goes back to Nicholas Norton on Martha's Vineyard.  If  you have any information about Ruth I
would love to hear from you.

"Edson Barlow" thinks he has connected her to the Fairfield CT Barlows...

I  am  interested  in  knowing  how/why Charles Bennett BARLOW and Serena
Nye traveled  from  Sandwich,  Massettchusetts  to Bath, Placer County, California.  Charles Bennett Barlow was born 28 Oct 1830, married Serena Nye
14 Aug 1851 and died 19 Jan  1912  in California.
Does anyone out there know anything more about him?

Georgie  BARLOW born 1888 in Placerville California  married Charles William BALL, born 29 June 1874 in Shenandoah Valley, Amador Co California.
They had six children:  Charles R., Mernelva, Bernard B., Marian, Laura E.
        and  Janice.
Georgie died 23 March 1958 in Placerville and is buried in the Union Cemetery there.
Charles preceded her in death by 15 years, and is  buried in  the Shenandoah Valley Cemetery, Amador Co California.
I have no other information  about Georgie - not even whether Georgie is her given name, or a nickname for Georgina, Georgette, Georgianna, or some such.
Does anyone know the parentage of Georgie Barlow?  Thanks..

I don't think that your Georgie was a daughter of Charles Bennett Barlow, but  she could very well be a  granddaughter.  The location seems right and I know
of no other Barlows in the vicinity.
