BARLOW, GEORGE, before General Court September 19, 1637. Settled at Sandwich. Constable. He married Jane, widow of Anthony Bessey, whose daughters were before Plymouth Court 4 March 1661-1662 for ill treating him.
He made will August 4, probated October 31, 1684 bequeath to wife, sons John and Nathan, to Aaron and Moses B. The widow made will 6 August, probated 5 October 1893, bequeath to sons John and Nathan B. and Nehemiah Bessie; to daughters Ann Hallett, Elizabeth Bodfish, and Rebecca Hunter

BESSEY, ANTHONY, age 26, came in the James in July 1635. Settled at Sandwich. Before the court in 1638. Child David born May 23, 1639. Will February 10, 1656, inventory May 21, adminstrated 3 June 1657. Wife, Jane daughters Dorcas, Ann, Mary, and Elizabeth, sons Nehemiah and David. If his mother send over anything as she has formerly done, it is to be divided among all. [Reg V, 385] The widow married second, GEORGE BARLOW, who had daughters, Anna, Dorcas and Mary before the court March 4, 1661-1662

Margaret deposed December 15, 1662, aged about 50 years.

He died at Malden February 5, 1661-2.
