Rites to be Held at 
New Hebron

    The many friends and relatives of  A.C. (Donnie)  Berry of Prentiss, for- merly of  Old Hebron  were saddened by  the  announcement of  his death which  occurred  at  his  home  here Tuesday night.

   Mr. Berry was 90 years of age and had been confined  to  his  home  for   the  past few years  due to the infir- mities   of   age.   A  daughter,  Mrs. Mattie   Claire   Williams,  made  her home  with  him  and ministered  to him tenderly  and  loving during his enforced    retirement,    while   the
other  daughters  visited  frequently with him to  cheer him.

   Mr.   Berry  was  a  familiar  figure about  town  as  long  as  his  health permitted,   and  was  always keenly interested  in   government  and  the affairs of the day.

  Funeral services will be held today,
(Thursday) from Old Hebron  Baptist 
Church  at  2:30  P.M.  with  Saulters Funeral   Home    in    charge.    The  pastor,    Rev.   Solon   Walker,   will officiate at the rites.

   He leaves six daughters: Mrs. M.C. 
Williams  and Mrs. C.R. Quinn, Pren- tiss;   Mrs.  D.B. Quinn, Silver  Creek;  Mrs.  V.O. Lovell,  Brookhaven;  Mrs. G.   L. Wortham,   Nashville,  Tenn.; Mrs. Harry  Dolton, Jackson;  eleven  grandchildren and  five great  grand- children;  two sisters and three  bro-
thers.
