Centilla Berry3  (John2, John1) was born April 15, 1814 in North Carolina, and died April 10, 1889

She married Simon Polk September 24, 1829 in Marion Co Mississippi, son of Isaac Polk and Sarah White. He was born April 12, 1810 in Louisiana, (most researchers say SC), and died October 28, 1885 in Mississippi.

Both are buried in Prentiss Town Cemetery, Jefferson Davis Co Mississippi

Simon and Centilla Berry Polk were Charter members of Harrisville Baptist Church in Harrisville, Mississippi when it was organized as Liberty Baptist Church in February 1869.  The name was changed to Harrisville Baptist Church in 1923.
