He married Almanza / Alley A. Bishop on November 27, 1872 in Simpson Co Mississippi 
The daughter of Elijah Bishop, she was born March 23, 1854 in Mississippi.

There seem to be some big discrepancies here. I have not seen the actual 1880 image, instead have only a transcription from Family Search Organization, in which I have often found mistakes made. None of the children for 1880 are in the 1900 census, and the children in the 1900 census who should have been in the 1880 census, are not. Again, in 1900, the census taker shows Franklin to be born in 1832, when in actuality, should have been 1852. He shows they have been married 27 years, 10 children born, and only 1 living, but lists each child as "son" or daughter. He also shows Clarence M. to be a "daughter".

A trip to the archives seems to be in order for this family :) Shown below as best I can, I have listed the children per these two census records. If anyone should have correct information on this family, I would be much interested in hearing from you.
