WILLIAM JASPER CONN, son of Henry Ward Conn and Lydia Barlow, was born 1852.  He may have died between 1880-1900.

He married BETTY SCOTT January 21, 1875 in Copiah Co Mississippi.

I was unable to locate William in any census records, after 1880.  I used every variant of the spelling of Conn possible, and checked the entire U.S. for 1900 thru 1920.

Note:  These children are not in birth order

It was obvious that the census taker made a mess out of this census, and someone tried to straighten some of it out, but it is still a mess. I believe he must have been off a row or something. I had at first thought this is not our Jesse, but after seeing Meredith with the family, I feel sure it is ours

LYDIA P. 'DOVIE' CONN, daughter of Henry Ward Conn and Lydia Barlow, was born 1854 in Copiah Co Mississippi, and died February 09, 1923, burial in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Barlow, Copiah Co Mississippi

She married JIM D. BROWN, October 28, 1891 in Copiah Co Mississippi.

I don't have a prayer of finding them with about 300 Jim Brown's in Mississippi.  I tried James, JD, and several other variations, with no luck.    I did get lucky and found the 1910 census while searching for Bufkins.

Uriah Millsaps 'Bud' Conn and Mary Holiday Douglass

URIAH MILLSAPS 'BUD' CONN, son of Henry Ward Conn and Lydia Barlow, was born July 19, 1856, and died August 14, 1918 in Jackson, Hinds Co Mississippi.

He married MARY HOLIDAY DOUGLASS July 03, 1884 in Copiah Co Mississippi.  The daughter of James Madison Douglass and Margaret Elizabeth Bufkin, she was born June 22, 1856, and died December 07, 1934.  Both are buried in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Barlow, Copiah Co Mississippi.  She is also a sister to Minerva, who married Uriah's brother, John Floyd Conn

3.  LYDIA CONN, born March 24, 1889 in Hazelhurst, Copiah Co Mississippi, and died c1967

She married FRANK LAFAYETTE PHILLIPS April 09, 1916.  The son of Wesley Phillips and Dicey Crosby, he was born May 24, 1889 in Copiah Co Mississippi, and died May 31, 1959 in Jackson, Hinds Co Mississippi.   (he may have been married prior to Lydia, has a son, age 18 in the 1920 census)

4.  ALBERT GALLATIN CONN, born August 02, 1890 in Hazelhurst, Copiah Co Mississippi, and died July 07, 1955 in Jackson, Hinds Co Mississippi

He married BONNIE BELL FURR, December 19, 1919 in Rolling Fork, Mississippi.  The daughter of William Preston Furr and Ellen Adella Jones, she was born February 09, 1899 in Sharkey Co Mississippi, and died July 09, 1954 in Jackson, Hinds Co Mississippi.     (I did not find Albert in the 1920 census)
