I have not yet located Wm in 1850 and 1860, I wonder if the family might have relocated in Louisiana for this time period. More research will need to be done at a later date.

Note: Sherry Herrington shows Ellen to have married a Stephens, and the children Laura, James and Josephine to be hers. However, I have the original of the census record, it shows Ellen to still be a Herrington, and the childrens names are 'Shepard', not Stephens. I feel that Mary, as well as the Shepard children may well be grand-children of Wm's, but I am unsure as to who their parents are.
