WILLIAM PATRICK HILTON4 (William Isaac3, William2, Mr.1), son of William Isaac Hilton and Sarah Amanda Pearson, was born April 17, 1849, and died December 16, 1917 in Harrisville, Simpson Co Mississippi, the attending Dr. was Wilk N. Neely and the undertaker was L.M. Barlow, burial was in Harrisville Cemetery, apparently in an unmarked grave.

He married 1) ALMEDA / AMANDA BARLOW, December 19, 1873 in Simpson Co Mississippi.  The daughter of George Washington Barlow and Flora Ann Byrd, she was born c1856, and died c1882, burial place unknown.

He married 2) WINNIFRED JOSEPHINE 'JOSIE' BULLOCK, October 08, 1885, Simpson Co Mississippi.  The daughter of Zachariah Bullock and Nancy (Harper?), she was born April 25, 1853, and died, June 29, 1936, burial for Sharon Presbyterian Church, Simpson Co Mississippi.

2. FLORA AMANDA HILTON, born c1874 and died July 24, 1931 in Simpson Co Mississippi.

In 1900, Washington Hilton, age 24, is living with the Andrew J. and Martha Keen family in Simpson Co Mississippi
In 1910, W.W. Hilton, age 30 is living with H.B. and Flora A. Maddox in Simpson Co Mississippi.    I could not locate him in 1920.

2. FLORA AMANDA HILTON, born c1874 and died July 24, 1931 in Simpson Co Mississippi.

She married HARVEY BERKLER 'BERT' MADDOX, April 11, 1901 in Simpson Co Mississippi.  The son of Alfred Reed Maddox and Nancy Rebecca Tucker, he was born June 30, 1879 and died April 15, 1942 Simpson Co Mississippi.  They are both buried in Sharon Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi.

After Flora's death, Bert married Vida Wells.

7. EULESS THELMA MADDOX, born March 11, 1903 in Simpson Co Mississippi, and died January 01, 1956 in Columbia, Marion Co Mississippi.

3. LUTHER WESLEY HILTON, born January 24, 1879 in Magee Simpson Co Mississippi and died February 15, 1954 in Mitchell, Sabine Parish, Louisiana.

He married WENSIE BERRY November 25, 1903 in Pinola, Simpson Co Mississippi.  The daughter of John Jackson Berry and Margaret Bishop, she was born February 08, 1886, and died January 24, 1960 in Sabine Parish Louisiana.  Both are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sabine Parish Louisiana.

CLARA MAY HILTON, born February 23, 1905 in Simpson Co Mississippi, and died August 1981 in Mansfield, Desoto Parish Louisiana.
She married HUGH AUGUSTA 'PAT' MATTHEWS on October 28, 1938.  The son of Hugh August Matthews and Martha Adeline Parham, he was born April 06, 1900, and died July 17, 1971 in Mansfield, Desoto Parish Louisiana, burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Sabine Parish Louisiana

LILLIAN JULIA HILTON, born March 02, 1919, and died February 24, 1972 in Longview, Gregg Co Texas.
She married PHOENIX ARDEN HENDERSON on March 02, 1936 in Sabine Parish Louisiana.  The son of Nash P. Henderson and Flossie Magee, he was born August 17, 1915, and died February 08, 1988 in Sabine Parish Louisiana.  Both are buried in Fellowship Cemetery, Oak Grove, Sabine Parish Louisana

4. DORA MAE HILTON, daughter of William Patrick Hilton and Winnifred Josephine Bullock was born August 13, 1886 in Simpson Co Mississippi and died May 11, 1966 in Simpson Co Mississippi

She married 1) OSCAR DUEL MADDOX, February 19, 1905 in Simpson Co Mississippi.   The son of Alfred Reed Maddox and Nancy Rebecca Tucker, he is a brother to Harvey Maddox, who married Dora's half sister, Flora.   He was born November 03, 1881, and died died February 17, 1954
She married 2) HOWARD J. SILVEY, August 05, 1962 in Simpson Co Mississippi. He was born November 22, 1876, and died August 15, 1967
All are buried in Sharon Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi

NANNIE MARIE MADDOX, born October 04, 1909 in Simpson Co Mississippi.
She married 1) JAMES A. YELVERTON on December 10, 1927 in Simpson Co Mississippi. He was born December 11, 1909 and died Janaury 22, 1948, burial in Sharon Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi, where a double stone is erected with Marie Maddox, though no date is shown for her.
She married 2) FRANK WARE, c1950.

PATRICK DUEL MADDOX, born October 20, 1911 in Simpson Co Mississippi, and died October 30, 1990.
He married CLODINE TILLISON on July 14, 1944 in Washington, DC.   She was born September 09, 1911 and died October 13, 1979.  Both are buried in Sharon Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi

WILBORN HILTON 'BUD' MADDOX, born August 28, 1916 in Simpson Co Mississippi, and died December 13, 2001.
He married OTSIE UPTON on September 1951. She was born September 19, 1922, and died August 21, 1996. Both are buried in Sharon Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi

W.H. 'Bud' Maddox, 85, a farmer died Thursday, December 13, 2001, at the Veterans Nursing Home. Services are 10:30 a.m. today at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home with burial in Sharon Presbyterian Cemetery in Magee.
Mr. Maddox was born August 27, 1916 in Simpson County. His parents were Oscar D. Maddox and Dora Mae Hilton. He was a member of Sharon Presbyterian Church and was a deacon for 25 years. He was a WW II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by wife, Otsie Upton Maddox and brothers, Marvin, P.D., and Huborn.
Survivors include: sons, Robert Maddox, Sam Maddox, Arnold Maddox and Steve Maddox, all of Magee; daughter, Pansy Maddox of Gulfport; daughter-in-law, Martha Maddox of Magee; sisters, Essie Berry, Marie Ware, Sis Floyd, and Polly Garner, all of Magee; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

ORA MAE MADDOX, born April 14, 1919 in Simpson Co Mississippi.
She married JAMES WILSON FLOYD, SR. on February 16, 1936 in Simpson Co Mississippi.

DORA MAXINE 'POLLY' MADDOX, born October 25, 1925 in Simpson Co Mississippi.
She married HERBERT LEE GARNER on October 24, 1942 in Simpson Co Mississippi.

6. ILVA RAY HILTON, born January 05, 1896 in Simpson Co Mississippi, and died August 23, 1984.

She married JOSEPH JEFFERSON WARE, JR. c August 1925 in Simpson Co Mississippi.   He was born May 14, 1895, and died August 24, 1964.    Joseph had been married prior to Ilva, to Martha Jane Hughes, who died in 1925. They had three children, Myrtle Lois Ware, born January 22, 1917; Jeffie Cortez Ware, born February 24, 1918, and died April 19, 1939; and Mary Vernell Ware, born December 24, 1924, and died October 06, 1926. The latter two are buried at Sharon Cemetery in Simpson Co Mississippi. Myrtle is still living, but has a stone erected in Sharon Cemetery, along side her husband, Marvin Neri Maddox (son of Dora and Oscar Maddox, above)
