         She married 1.)  Henry Marcus "Mark" Strickland, son of Henry Strickland & Clarissa Varnado.
         He was born November 24, 1845 in Pike Co Mississippi, and died November 12, 1917, burial in Strickland Cemetery, 
         Sabine Parish Louisiana.  Henry had been married first to Mary Ann Russell, who died in 1889, also buried in
         Strickland Cemetery.  They had several children.

         She married 2.)  Mr. Sanders, apparently divorced, as she was using the Strickland name at the time of her death.

  Mrs. Florence Strickland, 100, of Many died in Leesville on Sun-
  day, December 23 at 10:55 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Mrs. Strickland is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs Louella Hardy of
  Many,  Mrs. Agnes Buyea of  Leesville,  and Mrs. Zela Boyett of
  Delks, Texas; two sons,  Richard Strickland of  Many, and  S.D.
  Strickland  of  Burkville, Texas;  20 grandchildren; 4 great grand-
  children and three great great grandchildren.

  She is also survived by a brother, Poley Mahaffey of Florien, and
  a sister, Mrs. Lisa Chance of Hornbeck.

  Funeral services were  held on Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. at
  the Shady Grove Church of God.   The Rev. Johnny Crocker offic-
  iated.   Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery under the direc-
  tion of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Funeral  services for Richard C. Strickland, 75,  of  Many, were held at the Lewing
  Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, Friday, Sept. 19, at 10 a.m.

  Officiating  at  the services were the church pastor,  the  Rev. J.M. Jarrell,  and the
  Rev. Melvin Smith.   Burial was in the  Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction
  of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers  were  Ottis  Lewing, Jim  Lewing, Jimmy Hildebrand,  Wayne Adams,
  Darrell Hood, and Tommy Joe Cox.

  Mr.  Strickland  was a  retired school bus driver, and a  longtime employee of  the
  Sabine  Parish Police Jury. He was also a member of the Lewing Chapel Church.

  Survivors  include  his  widow,  Mrs.  Hazel Strickland of  Many;  four sons,  Dovie
  Strickland, and  Mike Strickland, both of  Many, Delmer Strickland of  Shreveport, 
  and Richard 'Andy' Strickland Jr of Denham Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Darlene
  Bennett  of  Many,  and  Mrs. Helen  Hood of  Abilene, Texas;  one  brother, Sam
  Strickland of  Burkeville, Texas; 3  sisters, Mrs. Ella Hardy of  Many, Mrs. Agnes
  Buyea of Leesville, and  Mrs. Zella Boyett of Dallas, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and
  two great grandchildren.

  Funeral services for  Mrs. Myrtis Louella Hardy, 78, of Many, were held at 2 p.m.,
  Wednesday, January 10,  at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Int-
  erment  followed in the Many Cemetery,  under the direction of Warren Meadows
  Funeral Home.  Bishop Slay officiated the services.

  Mrs. Hardy  passed  away at  the Sabine  Medical Center in  Many, on  Tuesday,
  January 9.

  She is  survived by her husband, Floyd  Monroe Hardy of  Many; one son,  James
  Hildebrand of  Fisher;  one daughter, Joyce Stohlmon of  Germantown,  Maryland; 
  one sister, Agnes Boyens of Many; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren;
  and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral  services for  Mr. Floyd Monroe Hardy, 82, were at 4 p.m., July 16, at the
  Church of Jesus Christ of  Latter Day Saints in Many.  Visitation as at the Church
  of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, starting at 10:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Burial was
  in the Many Cemetery.

  Mr. Hardy died at Sabine Medical Center in Many, Louisiana, on July 16, at 2 pm.

  Mr. Hardy  was  born  on  May 17, 1912, in  Sabine  Parish, Louisiana, to  James
  Monroe, and Edna Jane Barnhill Hardy.  He served in World War II.   Mr. Hardy is
  preceded in death by his wife, Myrtis Louella Strickland Hardy.

  Survivors are 2 sisters, Mrs.Jewel French of  Robeline, Louisiana, and Mrs. Arline
  Primm of Shreveport, Louisiana; one brother, Mr. Albert Hardy of Many Louisiana;
  a host of nieces and nephews.

She married  Earl C.  Buyea.   He was born October 04, 1892, in Canastota New York, to 
David Buyea and Faye Gordon, and died May 17, 1960 in Leesville, Sabine Parish Louisiana, burial in Leesville Cemetery.
