William Mahaffey, Jr., was born May 30, 1813 at Montgomery Co Georgia,
and died October or December 30, 1860
He married Martha Patricia Touchstone, daughter of Dempsey
Touchstone and Sarah / Sally Millsaps.
She was born September 17, 1817, and died October 19, 1858. Millsaps
genealogy shows her death as November
23, 1852. I do not find a burial place for either her or William.
Determing her correct date of death would give us a
clearer picture as to who mothered the last three children of William A.
Mahaffey. Also, from Millsaps genealogy, I
have one source saying that Martha married a Thompson.

and Nancy, whom I believe would be their's is Wydell Mahaffey, born October
23, 1902, and died December 21, 1908, burial in Palestine Cemetery.
I find also in Simpson Co
Marriage Records, this may have been a first marriage.
