Martin M. Mahaffey,
87, died Thursday, February 11, after an extended illness.
Funeral services
were held at 3 p.m. Friday, February 13, in the Ebenezer Baptist
Church, with the
Rev. J.C. Edwards officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer Ceme-
tery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Survivors are his
wife, and one son, W.M. Mahaffey of Houston.

Funeral services for
Mrs. Ella Mahaffey, 87, of Florien, were held at the Ebenezer
Baptist Church,
Monday, August 02, at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Earl Marr,
and
the Rev. V.I. Prewitt
officiating.
Interment was in the
Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mahaffey
died Sunday, August 01, in the Heritage Manor,
after a lengthy
illness.
Survivors include
one son, W.M. Mahaffey of Houston; one foster daughter, Mrs.
Jim Deal of Zavalla,
Texas; one brother, Walter Gilcrease of Natchitoches,
eight
grandchildren; 16
great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

making me believe they were infants of this family, however, Martin
and Ella had a son born January of 1904, thus
Dewey born in March 1904, could not be theirs.
