     Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi.

     He married Mrs. Margaret Ennis, on 22 April 1877.   She was born April 21, 1837, and died September 06, 1898, burial
     in Harrisville Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi.

    Seeing  that Wm. was aged 40 at the date of his marriage to  Mrs. Ennis,  would suggest to me that  he had been married 
    prior, and that some of these children were mothered by a first spouse.  Another reason I think that is in looking at his son,
    Robert, married 1890,  if he had  been born after April 1877, he would not have been old enough to have married in 1890.
