NATHANIEL 'GREEN' BARLOW4, son of NARVEL R. BARLOW and ELIZABETH BYRD, was born August 10, 1851, and died July 03, 1903, burial in Clear Branch Cemetery, Rankin Co Mississippi. (Luther Hart shows his death as 1905)

He married MARY C. PARKINSON February 19, 1880 in Rankin Co Mississippi.  The daughter of John Parkinson and Sarah Lowther, she was born March 1864, probably in Arkansas, but possibly in Tennessee, and died after 1920.

Much information on the family was gathered by Clara Woodall.   She said it came from Mrs. Gib Barlow living in Crystal Springs, whose memory is bad, from Joe Duke Barlow, who moved to Jackson a couple of years before (?), and from Mrs. Drury Barlow living in Jackson.

WARREN W. BARLOW5, born February 1881, Mississippi, and died 1941, burial in Florence Cemetery, Rankin Co Mississippi.  He was married twice, wive's names not known, no children.

2. NORVAL R. 'BUD' BARLOW, born February 1883, and died April 19, 1953

3. JOSEPH DEE BARLOW, born April 06, 1885, and died March 29, 1966, burial in Mulhearn Cemetery, Monroe, Ouachita Parish Louisiana

4. OSCAR GREEN BARLOW, born January 24, 1888, [1900 census shows 1887] and died July 15, 1970, burial in Mulhearn Cemetery, Monroe Ouachita Parish Louisiana

DRURY/DREWEY S. BARLOW, born December 02, 1889, [1900 census shows 1887] and died March 27, 1967, burial in Florence Cemetery, Rankin Co Mississippi
He married SADIE ALLEN.  She was born January 01, 1898, death date unknown, burial in Florence Cemetery, Rankin Co Mississippi.  No children born to this marriage ... they lived in Jackson, Hinds Co Mississippi

WALTER S. 'JACK' BARLOW, born July 23, 1896 [1900 census shows 1895]
He married MISS BROWNING.  They lived in Kaufman Co Texas.  I was unable to locate him in 1920.

2.  NORVAL R. 'BUD' BARLOW, son of Nathaniel Green Barlow and Mary Parkinson, was born February 1883, and died April 19, 1953

He married 1.  SUSIE DIANE HARRIS, November 05, 1905, Simpson Co Mississippi. The daughter of Thomas Harris and Amanda Melvina Gates, she was born February 27, 1887, and died March 95, 1916, burial in Harrisville Cemetery, Simpson Co Mississippi.   

He married 2. EFFIE GARRET, after 1916.    Braxton Cemetery, 1899-1967

He married 3. LENA KENNEDY, after 1926.

Burial rites for N.R. (Bud) Barlow age 70 of Rockport Community were conducted Tuesday April 20 at 3 PM from the Harmony Baptist church. He died Monday at 8 AM at the Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Besides his wife Mrs. Lena Kennedy Barlow, he is survived by his two sons, Robert who lived with him; and Burnis of Harrisville; one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Young of Hopewell; one sister, Mrs. H.C. Robinson of San Antonio; Five Brothers O.G., Monroe, La., D.S., Jackson, Joe, Alexandria, La. W.S., Kaufman, Texas and Gib Barlow of Crystal Springs. He had five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Interment was in Harmony Cemetery  (Copiah Co Mississippi)

4.  OSCAR GREEN BARLOW, son of Nathaniel Green Barlow and Mary C. Parkinson, was born January 24, 1888, [1900 census shows 1887] and died July 15, 1970, burial in Mulhearn Cemetery, Monroe Ouachita Parish Louisiana

He married MAGGIE C. NAUL, November 23, 1919.  The daughter of Martin Laythayett/Lafayette Naul and Alice Frances Wilson, she was born May 20, 1894, and died September 07, 1965, burial in Mulhearn Cemetery, Monroe Ouachita Parish Louisiana

In 1920, Oscar and Maggie are living w/ his in-laws in Tangipahoa Parish Louisiana.
