CHARLES H. BARLOW of 319 Ridgeway , retired sales manager of the new products division of the Borden Co, died today in Lanconia, (NH) Hospital. He was 77 years old.

In 1949, a year after he retired from the dairy company, Mr. Barlow became an investment broker with Shields and Company in New York. 

Surviving are two daughters: MRS. JOHN B. EVANS and MRS. R.J. WEBSTER; two sister and four grandchildren.

ASHBURNHAM 

HUBERT BARLOW, 83, of 41 Winchendon Road, formerly of Greenville, N.H., died yesterday in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner. 

His wife, ADA 'RICHARDS' BARLOW, died in 1973. He leaves a daughter, GAIL B. BUCKLER of Ashburnham, with whom he lived; and two grandchildren.  He was born in  Burnley, England, son of WALTER and BETSY 'NICHOLSON' BARLOW, and lived many years in Greenville, before moving here in 1985.

He worked for many years at the former Florence Textile Co. in Greenville, retiring in 1970. 

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.   Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Fletcher Funeral Home, 70 Pleasant St., Winchendon, is directing arrangements.

HOWARD E. DUROST, 79, of 1950 South U.S. Route 1, Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of 9 Tatman St., died yesterday in the home of his daughter here after an illness. 
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Doris E. (Galusha) Durost; a son, Ronald E. Durost of Worcester; two daughters, Debra E. Morrissey of Newton and Sandra E. Gunderman of Worcester; four brothers, Carl E. and Roland Durost, both of Hooksett N.H., Harvey E. and  Albert G. Durost, both of Manchester, N.H.; a sister, Lillian Philibert of Manchester N.H.; seven grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Manchester, N.H., son of WINSLOW and EVELYN 'BARLOW' DUROST, and lived here most of his life before moving to Florida in 1988. 

Mr. Durost was a mason at Worcester State Hospital for 34 years, retiring in 1976. He then worked for several years at Holy Cross College. He also was a self-employed mason. Mr. Durost was a member of the Retired State, County & Municipal Employees Association of Massachusetts.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Mercadante Funeral Home, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be in Eastwood Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours at the funeral home are 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Massachusetts, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.

ASHBURNHAM 

GAIL B. 'BARLOW' BUCKLER, 52, of 41 Winchendon Road, died yesterday in Burbank Hospital, Fitchburg.

She leaves her husband of 33 years, William A. Buckler; a son, Kevin J. Buckler of  Westminster; and a daughter, Patricia L. Buckler of York, Pa. 

She was born in Peterboro, N.H., daughter of HUBERT and ADA 'RICHARDS' BARLOW, and lived in Greenville and Newport, N.H., before moving to Ashburnham in 1969. 
Mrs. Buckler was a substitute teacher, working at Oakmont Regional High School and Overlook Middle School. She also worked in the library at Oakmont. Previously, she worked at GFA Federal Credit Union. She enjoyed ceramics, tole painting and travel, and was an avid reader. 

Family and friends will gather from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral Home, 70 Pleasant St., Winchendon, followed by a remembrance beginning at 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in the springtime in New Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the OakmontRegional High School Library, c|o Patricia Finkstrom, 28 Westminster St., Ashburnham  01430.

WORCESTER 

Angelia E. (Woodward) Earielo, 72, of 1050 Main St. died Friday in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness. 

Her husband, Umberto M. Earielo, died in 1990. She leaves two sons, James D. Shaw of Shrewsbury and Timothy W. Shaw of Auburn; four daughters, Victoria A. Marrero and Rosemary De Courcy, both of Worcester, Susan J. McDaniels of Stoughton and Mary A. Legere of Spencer; two sisters, Gwendolyn Snickers of Worcester and Madge Class in New Hampshire; 11 grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A daughter, Sandra J. Earielo of Worcester, died in 1974. 

She was born in Swanzey, N.H., daughter of BENSON and HARRIET 'BARLOW' WOODWARD, and  lived here 50 years. 

Mrs. Earielo was treasurer of the 1050 Club and an avid bingo player. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 9 Hammond St.    Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. A calling hour is 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
