Lillian Barlow's picture was found in an old Armitage family photograph album (see below) The Armitage family emigrated from Ireland to the United States before 1816 and settled in Seneca County, NY (Descendants of John ARMITAGE). Some of the photographs that I have been able to identify are: Joseph Stanley Armitage b. 1857 in Wayne Co., NY, d. 1939, Thomas Coke Armitage b. 1837 in Seneca Co, NY, d. 1878 in Seneca Falls, NY, Lillie Armitage b.1874. d. 1948 in York, PA, Mary Cornelia Armitage b. 1855 Galen, CT, Goodwin Armitage b.1860, disappeared around 1899.
