TO REQUEST HELP IN PAYING FOR A DNA TEST:  Funding should be used only for those families that have thoroughly researched their family and and have hit a brick wall, have submitted their family lineage to the Barlow genealogy website, and cannot afford the test out of pocket, remembering that the test can only be done on a male descendant with the surname Barlow.  In most cases, only a 12 marker test will be paid for from the fund, and will let you know which group your family is from.  If further testing is in needed, a donor or donors interested in your family lineage will be solicited to aid in the cost.  Contact me at:  Susan BARLOW Holmes

We specifically need a donor from the Edmund of Malden family as the only verification that they are a part of the George of Sandwich and John of Fairfield Connecticut families comes from another database.  Of course, there are still many families that do not know which group they belong to, or if they are yet another line of Barlows.
