We have a very interesting book we have written, based on fact and Barlow Family legend we would like to offer you -
a Barlow family member.  This book was written for our Barlow family's pleasure and enjoyment and was particularly directed to the young folks.
This tales is a short adventure story that brings to light five colorful and historic Barlows. Arthur sent to the "New World" by Sir Walter Raleigh, George the "Beast of Sandwich" [MA], a political favor appointment by the King of England in the 1600's, Thomas a seafaring pirate and Levi and Nathan, Barlow brothers who bravely fought in the Revolutionary War at the Battle of Nantucket in the waters off the coast of Cape Cod.
The title of the Barlow tale is "THE BATTLE OF NANTUCKET", published and copywritten 1998, Farewell Press, PO Box 57, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.  There is a second book also available now which brings Levi and Nathan forward to their future, our present to take a look at the changes taking place along our coastline.  This book looks at the need for solutions to problems now existing.  Both of these books are nicely illustrated, soft covered with a glossary and maps.
We feel every Barlow home/family should have these books.
Here are a few comments we have received about our tale

John Gardner a Doctor/Technician, Falmouth Hospital, Falmouth, MA --
"A true Cape Cod adventure from a by gone era!  An enchanting short story.  This tale takes you back to a time during the Revolutionary War and fascinates you with deeds of our brave and heroic forefathers, pirates and Indians alike.  Truly enjoyable reading for the entire family, young and old."

Jean Day writer of non-fiction NC history --
"I found the stories very enjoyable and interesting..."

Dan Warncke Cape Cod native and commercial inshore fisherman --

The second [book] THE ADVENTURES OF LEVI AND NATHAN was so real!"
