  State of Virginia at a court of Hustings held for city of Williamsburg, at courthouse, there-
  of,  on Wednesday the 28th of  April 1852 , a motion of  Robert J.  Barlow,  the court doth
  certify  him as  guardian of  his children,  William  Henry,  Robert J. and  Thompson, with 
  John N. Barlow, his security in the penalty of $2000.         Copy Test. T. Christian, Clerk

  Barlow, who was formerly Sarah Graves, and sister of Richard H. Graves, are the only heirs
  of Lt. William Graves of Virginia State Navy in Virginia.     signed by the clerk...name illegible

  Richard H. Graves in his own right and Robert J. Barlow, as guardian of his infant children,
  William  Henry &  Robert Barlow,  appointed  Samuel J. Bowden of  Williamsburg as their
  attorney, 28 April 1852.
