I, Elizabeth Brewer The Wife Of Edward Brewer of Blackburn in the County Of Lancaster Yeoman Being Impowered, Notwithstanding My State of Coverture to dispose of some property by will, do now in my perfect mind and memory make this my last will and testament with the consent and concurrence of my said Husband testified by the signing of his name hereto: and do appoint my husband and my nephew John Barlow Of Edgworth in the County Of Lancaster, Executors of This My Will.
First I Give And Bequeath All my wearing apparel unto my grandnieces Catherine Barlow And Alice Barlow daughters of My Said Nephew John Barlow, to be divided between them at such time and in such manner as my husband shall judge most proper.
And Whereas my late grandmother Alice Taylor of Entwistle in the said county did by her deed of assignment duly executed assign unto certain trustees the sum of œ400, To Hold in trust to put out at interest, & to apply the interest as followeth: One third part thereof to me, and unto my two late sisters Catherine Barlow And Alice Taylor both now deceased each of them one other third past, during our respective natural lives, and after the decease of my said two sisters and myself respectively upon further trust to pay one third part of the said principal money unto such persons as my sisters and myself should each respectively by our will or other instrument in writing direct the same.
And whereas John Wood Of Turton is now the only surviving trustee named in the said deed in whom there is now vested one remaining third part of the said money (namely) the sum œ133-6s8d to be disposed of by this my will. Now my will and mind concerning the same is and I do hereby order that after my decease the said sum shall remain under the care of my executors in trust, and be by them continued out at interest upon sufficient security during the life of my said husband and that my husband shall receive the interest thereof for his own use during his natural life: and after his death, I bequeath the same equally amongst my two nephews John Barlow and James Barlow And my niece Catherine Barlow, share and share alike. And if any of my said nephews and niece shall be then deceased having left lawful issue, I Order that the part of him or her so deceased shall be equally divided amongst such issue, and for want of such issue the same shall go unto the survivors of my said nephews and niece.
And hereby revoking all former wills or other testamentary writings by me at any time made, I Declare this my Last will and testament.

Signed, sealed published and declared by Elizabeth Brewer as her last testament and also signed by The said Edward Brewer in testimony of his concurrence therewith, in the presence of us T.C. Elin Riley, James Brandwood.
