I am looking for Barlow ancestors in Ireland.
George L. Barlow was born 8 Aug 1840, at Croom, Limerick County, Ireland.
In the autumn of 1848 when he was eight years of age, his father, mother, and family of six children set sail for America in an old sailing vessel and were six weeks crossing the ocean. The father, mother and two children, stricken with ship's fever, died and were buried at sea.
The others landing at New Olreans, were taken to a hospital where the two brothers and three sisters died, leaving George all alone. He made his way back to the wharf he lived as best he could until two men from St Louis discovered him, and turned him over to a man (Albert Howard) from Green County, Ilinois, who was glad to give him a home for several years.
On 4 March 1880 he was married -second time- to Mary E. Buckingham. To their union on son was born George Russell, who lives near Ludlow.
George L. Barlow is my Great- Great Grandfather, and George Russell Barlow is my step Great Uncle.
I am looking for descendents of George Russell Barlow.
Thank you for any leads you might give.

#76 Abraham Thomas......300 b.PF 1864 b. 6 Jan 1773 in Craven Co., south side of Broad River Waters of Carson Creek; bd'd Thomas Shaw, WILLIAM AND JOHN BARLOW, Samuel Chapman, Charles Butner, Moses Kirklin, Sunday 18 Jan 1773

#111 WILLIAM BARLOW b. PF 76 6 Jan 1773 to WILLIAM BARLOW 100/150 acres, at Craven Co. south side of Broad River on waters of Carson Creek; bordered north and west by Abraham Thomas, east by John Barlow, south by Mariah Elander Gross, Sunday 19, Jan 1773

dd 22 Oct 1774 to Secretary recorded in record of plots Vol I pg 135
The Council Journal clearly gives the name as "William" and the acreage to which he is entitled is 100 acres. However, the survey states there was laid off for 150 acres bounded in part by John Barlow's land, and at the same time, 100 acres were laid off for John Barlow on a precept for John Barlow dated 6 Jan 1773.

John Barlow is not listed as being given land at this time. He was already in SC. He may have already had land as William had bought or been given 50 acres of it and it was divided at the time William's land was laid off for him.

I am looking for information about BARLOW's from New Jersey.
John BARLOW was a dairy farmer from the Monmouth Jct., Kingston, NJ area in the middle 1900's.
His father was Issac BARLOW who was born abt. 1840 in Ireland. A number of BARLOW's were living in Cranbury, NJ in the 1900's.

Greetings from "down under" to Barlows and their researchers worldwide.
I'm looking for descendants of John Brabazon Barlow and his wife Henrietta Guinness. They were married about 1866, probably in Ireland, possibly in Melbourne Australia.
John was probably the son of Rev. John Barlow of Creggan, Co Armagh, Ireland; and Henrietta was the daughter of Rev. William Newton Guinness and Harriette Le Poer Trench, of Ireland, and Melbourne. Captain Barlow was a captain in the English merchant navy.
One of his journeys was to New Zealand as master of the TAINUI in the 1880s. Any suggestions or contact would be welcome.
