The Quaker records
do not contain information on William T.
Barlow. There is only a reference
that Susannah Crew was written out when
she married on 25 February 1817 William
T. Barlow, who must have been a non-Quaker.
The Charles City Co Deed Book shows that
William T. Barlow bought land in Charles
City Co from John McGregory on 07 June
1819 and acquired a lot of debts. He had
to sell slaves and shared a bond with Edward
Folkes to Robert A.Christian.
Witnessed by Daniel Crew and James Barlow. Folkes and Crew are Quaker families.
Another paper filed on 13 January 1820
in Charles City Co cancelled the debt and
the purchase of land by William and Susan
Barlow from John McGregory. Witnessed
by William & Henry Phillips (Quakers)
and Joseph Christian from Elizabeth City
Co.
01 March 1834: Inventory of William T.
Barlow's estate showed a worth of $144.11
1/4 cents. Witnessed by James Morris, John
Folkes, and Nelson New.
